Excursions - NEW this year


With 25 years experience in the Pyrenees and 6 years working in Baqueira, we have put together some excursions to enhance your week. Pre-booking is recommended - please get in touch if you are interested in any of these trips.  
 
Tapas tour (Explore the valley)
Baqueira has a few bars and restaurants to offer the the real atmosphere is to be found in the tapas bars dotted aroud the valley. Seeing these is a must and we will drive you round all the hot stops, stopping for as long as you wish in each bar. Most people indulge in the tapas to the extent they forget dinner.
 
Luchon (40 mins from Baqueira)
Luchon is a great resort with plenty of atmosphere. The town itself has plenty of shops, bars and restaurants, all reasonably priced. Website

Lourdes (90 mins from Baqueira)
Whether you are religious or not visiting the grotto in Lourdes is a memorable experience. Take some time to absorb the atmosphere and take in the history of the Catholic church. Lourdes is also a fantastic town with various bars and restaurants on offer.

Andorra (2 hours from Baqueira)
Take a trip to Andorra for the day and take advantage of some tax free shopping. We have experienced guides who can show you the best shopping areas as well as the best areas to ski.  
 
Bareges/La Mongie (2.5 hours from Baqueira)
We have regularly skied Bareges since the 1980s. The resort has some awesome runs and mogul fields which are not for the faint-hearted. There are also several off-piste routes, such as the epic "l'eglise", accessed via caves. If you prefer a more sedate visit, you could try the thermal baths.
 
Piste Picnic
We can organise a champagne picnic as an optional extra!! We will bring all the food and Cava for your lunch up the mountain. Includes champagne, fruit juice, salmon, pate, cold meats and more...........
