Skiing for intermediates
Our instructor David Slattery explains what you can expect from BB Ski School as a intermediate skier......
"Intermediate level encompasses a wide ability range - anything from a skier who's done just a week and has got the 'skiing bug' to a red run skier who is desperate to do a black run. We get to know our skiers, their level and what they are looking to get out of the week, and they are split into intermediate groups according to ability. We refinine the techniques and turns, and iron out any problems. We explain and show what the skis can do for them - modern equipment is very effective!
"We look at edging, pressure control, and posture, but mileage is important at this level too, so we try to show clients plenty of pistes around the mountain. The lessons are safe, challenging, informative and fun! "
"The terrain in Baqueira/Beret is well suited to intermediates. With so many blues and reds in the resort there is plenty to enjoy in a week. Pistes are wide, uncrowded and well maintained - perfect for confidence building and technical improvement. "
