Your skiing level
How would you describe your skiing?
If you are interested in booking some tuition please take a
short while to look at the levels listed below and consider how
you could best describe your own skiing. If a level does not fit exactly then levels of 3/4 or 2/3 are fine too.
Level 1 - White
You have never skied before, or feel nervous on nursery slopes.
You are maybe not completely confident of your ability to turn using a snow plough.
Level 2 - Green
You are happy to ski nursery slopes and may have limited experience on blue runs but
you do not feel very confident on them.
Level 3 - Blue
You are happy to ski nursery slopes and easy blues but you find icy or
slightly steeper sections a problem.
Level 4 - Red
You are fine skiing blue pistes parallel and are confident on easy reds
but do not feel so good on steeper reds, or sections that are icy or bumpy.
Level 5 - Black
You can confidently ski all red runs and easier blacks but you are apprehensive of
steeper or mogulled blacks. Off-piste may also be a worry to you.
Level 6 - Anywhere
You feel happy skiing pretty much anywhere on any colour of run although you
may have to pick your route carefully off-piste and down bumpy blacks.
